The Project — Branding
A Fun & Risque Project from School
One of my favorite projects from college was a packaging design assignment during my final year. Our professor had us draw random business types from a hat—and I lucked out with a lingerie brand. Right away, I was inspired by vintage hand lettering, like the kind you'd see on 20th century war planes, and that became the creative direction for the whole project.
The Result
Vintage Vibes with Modern Curves
The final packaging brought the concept to life with a balance of playfulness and detail. I chose a pillow box—commonly used for lingerie—to imitate the curved body of a WWII plane. The hand-lettered logo was inspired by vintage nose art, giving the brand a bold, nostalgic personality. To keep the rest minimal, I screen printed simple linework to represent fuselage seams. As a final touch, I hand-punched and secured tiny “rivets” across the surface—an impractical detail, but one that reinforced the concept and added a tactile, over-the-top charm.
